The official Twitter app has been updated and optimized for the iPad. Tap on a tweet to open a “pane” to view linked content, such as web pages, photos and videos.
Features:

- Gestures – Pinch tweets to view details. Two finger and drag to view repies
- No login required – View various tweets in different categories, such as Sports, Entertainment, Tech and more

The UI is beautiful!
Why can’t I deselect a message after click on it? I just hangs there and when i scroll its always there.
And why can’t I close a browser window when I open it?
Work around: click the @ reply section and click back to the timeline… All gets cleared up.
Twitter for iPad looks like it has great potential, but it’s still missing quite a few basic features – like the ability to delete a tweet. It’s really lovely, and I’m excited to see where it goes, but I’m looking for alternatives at this point.
